Rinorea arborea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kenya tenggara, Mozambique, hingga Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Rinorea arborea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Louis-Marie Aubert du Petit-Thouars pada tahun 1886.
