Rinorea squamosa subsp. kaessneri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Violaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kenya tenggara hingga Tanzania timur. Nama ilmiah Rinorea squamosa subsp. kaessneri pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1981.
