Rochefortia spinosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan espino. Nama ilmiah Rochefortia spinosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1915.
