Rondeletia pilosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Puerto Rico hingga Kepulauan Leeward. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan cordobancillo peludo. Nama ilmiah Rondeletia pilosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1788.
