Rorippa islandica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Siberia dan Mongolia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan northern marsh yellowcress. Nama ilmiah Rorippa islandica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Christian Oeder pada tahun 1900.
