Rorippa subumbellata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California hingga Nevada. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan lake tahoe yellowcress. Nama ilmiah Rorippa subumbellata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Reed Clark Rollins pada tahun 1941.
