Rosa abyssinica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di kawasan tropis Afrika bagian timur laut, Jazirah Arab barat daya. Nama ilmiah Rosa abyssinica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Robert Brown pada tahun 1820.
