Rosa bellicosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Rosa bellicosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sergei Arsenjevic Nevski pada tahun 1937.
