Rosa coziae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Carpathians selatan. Nama ilmiah Rosa coziae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Erasmus Julius Nyárády pada tahun 1955.
