Rosa mollis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Rosa mollis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis James Edward Smith pada tahun 1813.
