Rosa persetosa merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari China (Sichuan). Nama ilmiah Rosa persetosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Allen Rolfe pada tahun 1913.
