Rostellularia hayatae merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Hong Kong, Nansei-shoto, hingga Filipina (Kepulauan Batan). Nama ilmiah Rostellularia hayatae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Yoshimatsu Yamamoto pada tahun 1989.
