Rourea revoluta merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Connaraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Guyana hingga Brazil (Roraima). Nama ilmiah Rourea revoluta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jules Émile Planchon pada tahun 1850.
