Rousselia humilis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Urticaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tenggara, Guatemala, hingga Karibia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan shineseed. Nama ilmiah Rousselia humilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Olof Peter Swartz pada tahun 1905.
