VENEZUELAN ROYAL PAL Roystoneaoleracea (Jacq.) O.F.Cook
Roystonea oleracea merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Lesser Antilles hingga Kolombia timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan venezuelan royal palm. Nama ilmiah Roystonea oleracea pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1901.
