Rubus amabilis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nepal hingga China. Nama ilmiah Rubus amabilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Olbers Focke pada tahun 1905.
