Rubus calycinoides merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya hingga Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Rubus calycinoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ernst Otto Kuntze pada tahun 1879.
