Rubus canescens merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Italia barat laut. Nama ilmiah Rubus canescens diperkenalkan oleh Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1813.
