Rubus erythroclados merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil tenggara dan selatan hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Rubus erythroclados diperkenalkan oleh Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1867.
