Rubus foliosus merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa barat dan tengah. Nama ilmiah Rubus foliosus diperkenalkan oleh Carl Ernst August Weihe pada tahun 1825.
