Rubus haitiensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Haiti. Nama ilmiah Rubus haitiensis diperkenalkan oleh Liberty Hyde Bailey pada tahun 1944.
