Rubus holosericeus merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa tengah dan timur-tengah. Nama ilmiah Rubus holosericeus diperkenalkan oleh Lorenz Chrysanth von Vest pada tahun 1821.
