Rubus pumilus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Rubus pumilus diperkenalkan oleh Wilhelm Olbers Focke pada tahun 1874.
