Rubus subaculeatus merupakan tumbuhan perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menjalar. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa barat. Nama ilmiah Rubus subaculeatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Michel Gandoger pada tahun 1884.
