Rubus trilobus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Rubus trilobus diperkenalkan oleh Nicolas Charles Seringe pada tahun 1825.
