Rubus utchinensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Nansei-shoto (Okinawa-jima). Nama ilmiah Rubus utchinensis diperkenalkan oleh Gen-ichi Koidzumi pada tahun 1913.
