Rubus vernus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang (Hokkaido barat daya, utara dan Honshu tengah). Nama ilmiah Rubus vernus diperkenalkan oleh Wilhelm Olbers Focke pada tahun 1878.
