Ruellia bella merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Thailand. Nama ilmiah Ruellia bella diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Grant Craib pada tahun 1918.
