Ruellia benedictina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Eritrea. Nama ilmiah Ruellia benedictina diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1930.
