Ruellia edwardsae adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Texas hingga Meksiko timur laut. Nama ilmiah Ruellia edwardsae diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Benjamin Carroll Tharp pada tahun 1949.
