Ruellia epallocaulos adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil selatan hingga Argentina (Misiones). Nama ilmiah Ruellia epallocaulos diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Emery Clarence Leonard pada tahun 1992.
