Ruellia erythropus (Nees) Lindau

Ruellia erythropus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko timur dan selatan, Venezuela barat laut, Bolivia, Brazil, hingga Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Ruellia erythropus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1895.
