Ruellia insignis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Socotra utara-tengah. Nama ilmiah Ruellia insignis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1883.
