Ruellia leucantha subsp. postinsularis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko barat laut. Nama ilmiah Ruellia leucantha subsp. postinsularis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Howard Scott Gentry pada tahun 1996.
