Ruellia maya adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko (Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas) hingga Guatemala. Nama ilmiah Ruellia maya diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Franklin Daniel pada tahun 1995.
