Ruellia panucana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko (Veracruz). Nama ilmiah Ruellia panucana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Gustav Lindau pada tahun 1895.
