Ruellia pereducta adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Nikaragua. Nama ilmiah Ruellia pereducta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Carpenter Standley pada tahun 1935.
