Ruellia stemonacanthoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Amerika tengah. Nama ilmiah Ruellia stemonacanthoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Anders Sandøe Ørsted pada tahun 1882.
