Rumex amanus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Türkiye selatan. Nama ilmiah Rumex amanus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1949.
