Rumex polycarpus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Argentina (Entre Ríos). Nama ilmiah Rumex polycarpus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1953.
