Rumex spathulatus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat daya. Nama ilmiah Rumex spathulatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1794.
