Rumex stenophyllus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur dan tenggara hingga Temp. Asia. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan narrowleaf dock. Nama ilmiah Rumex stenophyllus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich von Ledebour pada tahun 1830.
