Ruspolia decurrens merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rep. Afrikan Tengah hingga Ethiopia dan kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Ruspolia decurrens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Ferdinand Friedrich Hochstetter pada tahun 1936.
