Russelia polyedra merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Russelia polyedra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Gerhard Zuccarini pada tahun 1837.
