Rytidosperma carphoides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Australia tenggara. Nama ilmiah Rytidosperma carphoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand von Mueller pada tahun 1979.
