Rytidosperma thomsonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Pulau Selatan Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Rytidosperma thomsonii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Buchanan pada tahun 1979.
