Sagina maxima merupakan tumbuhan semusim atau dwimusim dari famili Caryophyllaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stickystem pearlwort. Nama ilmiah Sagina maxima diperkenalkan oleh Asa Gray pada tahun 1859.
