Salacia nigra merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kamerun. Nama ilmiah Salacia nigra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Martin Roy Cheek pada tahun 2014.
