Salicornia utahensis merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah, New Mexico timur, Texas, hingga dan Meksiko (Sonora). Nama ilmiah Salicornia utahensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ivar Tidestrom pada tahun 1913.
