Salix stolonifera merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Aleut hingga Kanada barat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sprouting leaf willow. Nama ilmiah Salix stolonifera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Frederick Vernon Coville pada tahun 1901.
